‘C’ Coy helps county win Rugby competition
On 9 March 2008 three cadets from ‘C’ (Tiger) Company represented the county at the Eastern District Seven-a-side Rugby Football Competition. Leics, Northants & Rutland won both the Intermediate and Senior Rugby.
The Seniors won all their games almost unscathed. The Intermediates made life more difficult for themselves by losing two of their league games and narrowly scraped into the final by their better scores. However, they won the final by 3 tries to 1. Cpl Roberts scored the winning try and Sgt Brown had scored an earlier try for the Seniors
